Newsec

The collaboration with Newsec has been interesting in several ways. One of them is that Newsec is one of the clients we’ve been closely working with for the longest time, and still do. This has allowed us to make efforts based on Newsec's specific needs and challenges here and now, which we have then been able to track the results of, and together with Newsec, decided what the next natural step in the process would be.

The main challenge was to help two divisions at Newsec take ownership of and drive the sustainability strategy that had been developed at the Group level. We started by conducting a Lighthouse session with the management teams of the two divisions, where we jointly set a common understanding, ownership, and structure linked to the overall strategy. This resulted in insights and decisions about the divisions’ ambitions, communication approach, and the kind of business development needed going forward.

We worked based on the "waterfall principle," where, through a top-down approach, we anchored the discussions in the divisions' management teams, at the middle management level, and then all the way down to all employees. As part of this, we carried out training efforts and conducted an Organisational Insight Compass with all employees in the divisions.

The perceived result in the divisions is that the sustainability work has gained momentum in a completely new way. Among other things, it has been integrated more clearly into the processes. Positions have been moved forward, and greater internal understanding has been created regarding how to work with these issues in a more structured way, regardless of where one is in the organisation.
